Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Decathlon ski deals (Atomic Alibi / Rossi S7)

Some good deals to be had at Decathlon Reading, if anyone is looking for some new planks:

Atomic Alibi (180cm) and Rossi S7 (178-ish). Both around the £150 mark.

Was very tempted by the Rossis. But they've got a fair amount of rocker so too short for me. And is it me, or do Rossignols always look short compared to their stated length?

Can't see either of those on the Decathlon website, but that's a really good deal.

I have a set of Rossi S86 which I used for 2 seasons and they're still in very good nick. I find that Rossis can be a bit heavy, though.

As a big bloke, the weight and solidity of Rossis is a huge plus. I'm warming to Decathlon having just bought a jacket very cheaply and now looking at some other deals!

Yup, their website doesn't seem to feature many brands (mostly just their own stuff) - but over the years have picked up some real bargains (not just ski stuff).
