Other half thought about going there last Sunday because that place is in Avoriaz, but we ended up going to see Alan at Coq and Bull in Morzine- thought it best to speak to someone english about foot troubles.
As the shop is right up the far eastern end of Rue du Bourg near the river, you'll want to take proper shoes with you to walk in.

Rene Collet has always had the reputation of being the best place for bootfitting in Avoriaz, things can always change but with good french and making sure you speak to the senior tech I'd say you'll be alright.

Not sure about this shop. I think the boots that they fit and are selling are too big. It could be that I'm used to very snug fitting boots, but they wouldn't have it that my missis's boots were too long for her. They have fitted a new custom insole to
reduce the volume, so we'll if that solves the problem.
For what it's worth, I got her to do a barefoot shell test. With toes touching the front of the boot, there was well over an inch of spare space behind the heel. I thought that an inch was at the roomy end for recreational skiers. Am I wrong on this one????
Would be interested in the opinion of @CEM or any other foot people.

ben76, you're right, they're too big for her. Recreational fit is a 15-20mm shell gap.
