Looking for suggestions for coffee in Morillon (GM) village.
Planning on the long winding blue run to valley floor with Wife + Friends need a coffee stop before all the lifts back into the system.

Obviously A snowHead isn't a real person

When you say "village", do you mean the village proper in the valley bottom, or the "ski resort" centre up at 1100 (IIRC), or somewhere higher up?
There is a great place at the top of the Bergen chair: l'Igloo.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

RobW, I'm looking for somewhere in the valley bottom. Before taking the boom gondola back up.

You may not be able to ski right to the bottom. It will depend on conditions and then again depending which route you take down there can be a 200m (ish) walk along the main road to the lift.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

We stayed in Morillon village in 2012, we tried to ski to the bottom a few times. All I'll say is that there was a lot of mud and walking involved plus some swear words. Maybe if the snow is better than it was then?

Neither of the two runs down were open a couple of days ago although the red looked doable. Le Puzze is okay and you will walk past it on the 200m walk Basil mentioned. Bon Coin is a good little bar opposite the gondola. If you have a choice do the red. Much more convenient and hardly any more red than the blue

I second the views that you are unlikely to be able to ski to the very bottom. I love the little restaurant "L'Beu" set back on the left about 100 yards up the slope just above the main chair at Morillon Les Esserts. Lovely crepes and good value simple lunches in a cosy old stone building that (given the cow theme) was most probably an old cow byre in days gone by.
