Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Crystal Resort Discount Cards

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
When I was in the 3 Valleys ealier this season, Crystal Ski were offering discount cards for a small fee which give discounts / happy hour prices in various bars and mountain restaurants.

Does anyone know if they have negotiated similar schemes in Val d'Isere and/or La Rosiere? If so, where these can be used. For the sake of €5 or €10 for the card, it is worth it for the extra savings when I go later in the season.

Thanks

They were offering them in Tignes last week.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Dunno about VdI or LR, but they were giving them out FREE in Pila last week - used them twice on the mountain for lunch, saving us 10% each time.

Not sure about La Rosiere, but they were offered to us in La Thuile last month. Only word of warning I have is that the crystal rep explained that the restaurants got annoyed if you brought them out at the end of the meal just as you were about to pay. He said some even refused to accept them unless you showed the card when ordering. To a pair of old cynics like us we just assumed you got 10% less on your plate (why else demand to see card earlier). No such thing as a free meal and all that.
