Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Parking in Zermatt / Tasch

Does anyone have any recommendations for car parking in Tasch? Seen the main car park at Tasch railway station but does anyone have any experience of using the private car parks which are advertised?

Thanks

Glenn

10196986, A few years ago I used one of the parking/taxi companies, I think it was Alphubel Taxi Parking. No problems and a good service, just drop the car off at their office and transfer to a taxi up to Zermatt. Last time, however, I just parked at the railway station car park and caught the train up and that was good too. It's very convenient parking and loading baggage on to a trolley and wheeling it on and off the train.

I found both to be very acceptable but would probably use the station car park and train if I went again.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

We've used these guys in the past and were very helpful and reasonably (for Zermatt) priced. On arrival they drove us up to Zermatt but on departure we got the train to Tasch

Only drove to Zarmatt once and used the station car park and train. The whole set up was excellently integrated, efficient and easy. What else? - it's Switzerland

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Just liberated our car after 7 days in the Tasch car park. 104CHF! If you have the time and inclination there must be a 50 quid saving to be had by avoiding the Bahnhof car park
