Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Morzine board hire

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hello,

I'm heading out to Morzine with some pals (first-timers) on Saturday and as group leader have arranged snowboard hire for us all at Gravier Sports, who seem really nice and helpful. However, they only have one kind of board and other places seem to have the option to upgrade to bronze, silver, gold level boards etc, so I just wondered if anyone has hired boards from them before and can tell me what the quality is like. I probably wouldn't notice the difference but a couple of our group would.

Cheers,
Coco

If there are members of the group who feel they need or want something different i'd leave it for them to arrange. If people are that bothered they would own there own, but if thats not the case there is no chance you would be able to guess what sort of board they might want!

their website shows the rossi trick stick which is a good board for beginners, and or park riders. anyone that wants to be clocking 100kph on piste though will want something stiffer....

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

You're all first timers and the Gravier team are great. Stick with them.

Thanks guys! I don't think any of us would be clocking 100kph on piste unless something had gone terribly terribly wrong.
