Arrived in Zell am See today. Snowmaking really is something these days . All runs are open but I don't think I've ever actually seen so little snow otherwise in the alps in winter

I am off to work tomorrow - I have been rostered this weekend, but looking forward to our last trip of the season - leaving for Zermatt on the 30th of this month to enjoy an extended May Bank Holiday weekend before the gear goes in to hibernation.

Going to Lech/Zurs tomorrow. Snow is okay even for late on in a bad season. Some drizzle expected in the valley, and a dusting of snow higher up. Looking at the Bergfex forecast, snoweye, and the Lech/Zurs website I'm not taking my powder skis. Pistes look half decent, and the link into Warth opens up a tad more half decent ski-ing on a couple of interesting pistes.

Tignes on Sunday for 1 week - I board so quite looking forward to the slush lower down, even though I'm led to believe anything above 2,800 M is still in good nick (and there's plenty of that as we know)

Going nowhere and a little depressed. Looked at all the late deals but I have other holidays booked for summer and it would still cost me well over 2.5K to take the family, hire gear, lift passes etc. Gutted but realistic.

Just began descent into Salt Lake City. Should be in Alta in hour or two. One hopefully awesome last day for the season. Forecast 65/70 tomorrow so should be pleasant. See you all next season !!!

Well, I thought I'd re-boot this thread for the new season
I'm off to Kaprun this Saturday for a week's coaching courtesy of Skivolution. Conditions looking pretty good thanks to heavy snowfall a couple of weeks ago on the Kitzsteinhorn glacier, with more forecast over the next few days. Early doors National Express coach down to Gatwick on Saturday morning, then flights with BA to Sallzburg... can't wait!
Who else is heading toward the white stuff this weekend?
