Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Need to get a new set of skis (176cm) that I need delivering from Southampton to Leeds. If any of you are travelling on this route or know any cheaper courier services, if so I'd love to know of them!!

Would you reckon TNT are good/ok? Also can the seller (as he requested) pay himself by cash when the courier arrives to pick up?

I bought some skis last month on Ebay -- the seller used City-Link.

There is someone on Ebay offering a courier service (not used them...)

TNT are fine. I doubt the buyer can pay cash on collect but they can book and pay themselves and, if necessary, email you the shipping labels - done that a few times myself.

Citylink is sightly cheaper. TNT seem to have almost the same price for 24 hr and 48 hr services.

Parcel2go told me that Citylink don't require a printed label, just the address. So I guess you could book the job from your end and arrange with the seller.

A mate uses Paisleyfreight to deliver car parts for his eBay business. I think they were expensive for skis when I costed a job, mainly due to length.

Yes citylink is better option. My cousin used his local Delivery service Dallas provider. I wonder if we have this facility here.
