This time last year it was grass right up to Christmas (I was looking on the webcam as I then went later in the season). Good there is something there now, so the base can be built up.

Quite a bit of snow in Chamonix also. There is about 5 - 6 cms in the town and there is due for more tomorrow I believe.

Just had the first morning ski of the season in MORZINE/AVORIAZ couple of lifts open and the snow was excellent!!!
Some lifts will now be open every day!

I skied "next" weekend last year and the only run open was the one under the red bubble in Les Gets.
