Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

What technique do you use for tackling those euro micro duvets masquerading as pillows?

Fold in half, fold to you
Fold in half, fold away
Roll
Twist
Scrunch to head board
Towels from the bath room underneath[/i][/quote]

hobbiteater, ask for more pillows. You won't find them in my apartment though.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Get so knackered during the day that a couple of beers/wine knocks you out.

hobbiteater, when I have encountered them (which thankfully isn't often) I tend to lob them on the floor and sleep without a pillow. I don't like high pillows and would rather sleep with none at all than something too big.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Megamum, I got the impression he was complaining about them being too small and thin to be any use. I love the big square ones, and have them on my bed at home. Sorted my hubby's sore neck too.

Hells Bells, I though his description of micro duvets meant something resembling a small duvet which is what those huge square jobs remind me of Laughing

If I'm going somewhere where the pillows are likely to be dodgy (which is lots of places) I try to take my own. A goosedown pillow will squish down pretty small. Princess and the pea? Yes, but I'd rather forego a couple of extra items of clothing and make room for a decent pillow.

I'm with pam w, I want my pillow to be just right. I've never got on with the Euro pillow. Not only is the size and shape awkward but in the cheap apartments I stay, the pillows are always filled with foam chips, so decidedly uncomfortable.

These days, I take a travel-size memory foam contoured pillow wherever I go. It rolls up small and takes up the same amount of space in my luggage as a pair of jeans. Now, how to tackle those frickin' barbie doll sized duvets that barely cover an adult...?
