Scott does some fluorescent orange freeride poles. I have the fluoro yellow ones, which are very visible when I've inadvertently let go of a pole in deep snow.

Exel had, when they were still in poles business, really great orange carbon poles, so you might still find some old stock somewhere. But I think they were around 150eur so they might be a bit pricey

IME, paint usually works. I would put some top clear laquer on it to stop it chipping
