Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Don't forget your other leg!

Saw Physio this week and she got me to straight leg raise and hold my bad leg, all good. She then asked me to do my good leg, oh my god that was hard to hold for the time she asked, I have been concentrating so hard on my bad leg I have completely neglected the other one Embarassed

I've experienced the same thing (I'm 8 months post-op). I've spent a lot of time especially doing proprioceptive and glute work on the "good" leg as it turned out my balance sucked and i have very lazy glutes on my good side.

I've more or less finished physio and now working with a trainer at the gym. My "weak good leg" was an eye-opener this week - she asked me to step up on a knee high box with a 30kg barbell on my back. Easy as pie on my reconstructed knee (quite chuffed with myself) nigh on impossible on my good knee!

Good luck with the rest of your rehab Smile

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

I feel your pain.

I've also found I've focused on some muscles more than others. So my quads were strong a few weeks post op, but it's taken 3 months with a trainer to get my hamstrings working properly again
