Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Binding Adjustment Question

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hey all, I'm looking at bidding on this listing but it seems the binding fixture position is set too large for my boots, will it be relatively easy to have them remounted without compromising the ski?

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/rossignol-bandit-b3-skis-/171189567670?pt=UK_SportsLeisure_Skiing_Skis_JN&hash=item27dbb180b6

Thanks in advance.

They'll need re-drilling for which the going rate is £25.

DOES THAT COMPROMISE THE SKI?

I was given a pair of these.. they were just what I wanted.. the bindings came off really easy.

The bind holes weren't the least of my worries though; I think the 4" nail I used to hang them on the wall of my bar DOES COMPROMISE THE SKI...

Ha ha ha, I skied them years ago and loved them. Need a cheap but decent ski fur lugging around the pyrenees for the next month without feeling too precious about them and these keep coming to my mind! Are they really that dated?! chuckle!!

No need to shout 'mate' rolling eyes Evil or Very Mad People find this a pretty helpful forum but you'll get little response with that attitude. Don't suppose you even tried using the search function as this question has been asked many times rolling eyes

I'll try & be a bit more helpful then:
The general rule regarding binding mounts is three strikes & you're out, ie a max of three mounts. However it really depends on the skis construction (ie metal layer or not), the proximity of the holes to each other, the orientation of the holes in the ski plus the size/weight/hucking factor of the user etc.
