It's good to support companies like Embers. I remember talking at length to the lady from Embers at a ski show 4-5 years ago (which is how I originally heard of them) and she is a Kiwi and goes out to NZ to source the merino. It's just better than the Chinese stuff and like for like cheaper than Icebreaker because it's sold direct and there's a middle man missing.

spyderjon, Yup Embers are great, and sign up to the John Smedleys mailing list from their factory just a bit up the A6 from Embers in Lea as well, not sold as such but their merino roll neck jumpers make great base layers and are nice and cheap in the factory sales they have every few months!

We also have some sample garments and end of lines which are not featured online. It's worth dropping us a call or email before travel to check we've got what you're after as stuff is selling out fast.
