Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

I'm gonna give it a try when I go in a couple of weeks, just for the sake of it - but i bet it will be nowhere near as good as the guiding I had from Ski Olympic a couple of years ago - French prats have properly fooked that up for everyone

Many ski holiday companies still offer free ski guiding in La Rosiere. They simply meet in Italy and guide the guests there. (technically not 'in' La Ros but you see what I mean) Smile

I never thought of that - of course, we spent at least half the time in La Thuile - I should have guessed

Yep, Simon Atkinson. He taught me to ski.

Before he became a ski instructor he was a ski guide for Ski Olympic.

stevew, alas no. Maybe Puzzled is appropriate? To be honest I have difficulty getting my head around his volte-face. Of course, he is just towing the corporate line and I suspect there is an element of him being thrust to the front on account of him being english and therefore more likely to get the ESF point of view across to the UK skiing fraternity.

Wow! He's been running the ESF there for quite a while in that case - I seem to recall him being in charge about 10 years or so ago.
