I'm off to La Plagne for 2 weeks from the 3rd. Hope the Fohn doesn't eat all the snow by then. I had rather looked forward to some long runs, e.g. down to Champagny or Montalbert...My first time. Staying in Plagne Soleil with my wife and daughters.

u brain, I am trying to, if I can sort out our year end this week I will (promise, promise, promise) book a short break 6th till 9th.
Anywhere with snow will be fine.

off to Vally Dee on the sunday for a week. Don't use up all the snow U Brain before we arrive. As a surgeon I've had a word with him upstairs and hopefully he'll arrange a white out for the saturday before we arrive -- sorry!!

The easterlies have been doing their worst for a couple of days now - started the night before last, blowing a gale until the early hours of this morning.
Some snow forecast above 1600ish for Friday, around 14cm, but as for Montalbert.... Then next week pretty warm with 0°C up to 3000m, and plenty of sun. Still, looking on the bright side, the base has stood up well so far, and we are nearly into April after all!

u brain, I'll definitely be at Val D in Tuesday 7th for the pre-qualifiers for the Scara (don't know yet whether it'll be on the 'Orange' or the 'Ok' piste). Starts around 10-11. If you're around, I'll be with a group of kids in fluorescent lime-green club gear.... you can't miss us!

Bring a flask!.... races are not my favourite way to relax, I get a bollocking if I so much as look at said racer for 24 hours beforehand, and as for race day itself.....
