ORF (Austrian Television) has made a Weltcup (FIS World Cup) app available, for web, tablet and smartphone (though I've only tried it on an iPad up till now). This gives details of the World Cup races, short biographies and results for skiers, etc. (only in German, as far as I have seen).
Maybe most interesting is a live stream of the races, though whether this is available outside Austria, I do not know -maybe somebody could try (click the Play icon to start the livestream) - the Sölden race is on just now (in beautiful sunshine).

Thanks, HutToHut. After a bit of a struggle I eventually found that the livestream over the web can be found here. Then click the Play icon above where it says "JETZT LIVE" (now live).

That is what I had rather feared but, since HutToHut had managed to get the Android app to work, I had vaguely hoped the livestream would work over the web too. Try later - we're watching the Indian GP just now

Looks like ORF have 'fixed' the app. No longer streams on Android in the UK.
