Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hi All,

Is it just my branch (Tunbridge Wells) or has TackyMacs not got any base layer this year? TW does have a few bits of some obscure merino brand from NZ but none of the piles of Trespass/Trek Mates/Surfanic of previous years. Confused

Loads and loads of Odlo stuff, some Craft stuff and the odd piece of Icebreaker in the ones I've been in recently, not seen any of the brands you mention in there yet.

I went into my local one in Peterborough last week. None in the men's. However loads in the women's many of which were actually men's. Some decent stuff there too!. It was marked up as women's although it was men's gear.

Thanks. There are a couple of other TackyMacs (Dartford and Crayford) not too far away, plus a Trespass shop in Bromley, or I'll have to contemplate venturing Over The Water ... Shocked
