Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Snowmobiling Insurance? Or Insurance that has problems.

Hi Skids ...
I've checked in the FAQ's but I could not find any reference to this.

Has anyone got any experience of this?

I already have a pretty comprehensive cover .. or I think I do, from the Bank.

http://www.natwest.com/downloads/global_options/docs/NatWest-Black-Account-Travel-Policy.pdf

So I've rung them up and asked the young lady.

She trotted out a long list of things that I was covered for ….
Including …. snowmobiling.

I said … it’s not just ordinary snowmobiling, this is out in the backwoods …
She says “Off piste?”
I say …”quite a bit off piste” ….
She says “hang on a minute I’ll check” ……..
1 minute later ….
“Yep your covered”, she says
I say … “Are you sure ?” …. “Yes!” …
“Are you really sure?” …. “Yes you are covered” …
“Thanks!”

“Oh by the way” .. I say “Whats the story with off piste skiing” …
“Your covered as long as you are with a qualified instructor.”

But the buddy I'm going with is not sure this is really covered ... and it wont be the time to try and work out the small print
when the skidoos are disappearing through a hole in the ice and we're two days hike away from the nearest civilization and its -30C

Has anyone ever had to use the Nat West bank services for anything similar?
If they really do everything I could possibly get up to ... its a very good deal.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

I'm with them and rang and asked about what I am covered for. They seemed to cover pretty much everything.

Hi Rick ... that's what worries me ... "when something looks too good to be true .. it probably is"

Its a pretty good deal ... i.e free .... and there is no age limit .. something I never used to worry about.
