David Goldsmith, Nope definately not Wengen
It looks (from the Architecture) like it's probably a French or possibly a Swiss area but it's not Wengen, Murren, Grindelwald or anywhere in that area

It looks like you're looking up from BSM towards Arc 1800 (The crane on the left gives it away)

That's not Obergurgl! Although apparently Obergurgl is now open - which I think makes it the first non-glacier resort in Europe to open...

Not the Cachette at 1600, but over the other side of the domain towards Peisey with (I think?) the Ours (right) and Aigle (joining from left) pistes, and part of Vallandry bottom left. Someone asked about conditions there, well at least there's some sign of snow high up the Ours. Haven't worked out if it's the Mont Pourri (3779m) in the background yet.

You know it makes sense.

PG, Ages ago, I spent a whole afternoon being coached on Aigle. I got it right eventually. It looks so different with no snow, but now I can orientate. I would think that is Mont Pourri, given the angle shot.

Oh! I always loved this. Can we have a different thread where Snowheads post their pictures for others to guess name the resort, piste etc.?
Of course some rules should be set up first.
