Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Anyone had any experience of these expanding kids boots.

Full Tilt also do one, called the Growth Spurt

Seems like a clever idea.
[edited as the initial post read like the FT boots were the same boot with a different sticker on]

Shop I work for has those on hire, held back in the emergency pile. Not that make come to think of it.
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

On the german
amazon
site, 14 people who reviewed the Roces gave them 5 out of 5 stars while 1 reviewer gave them 3 out of 5 staing that -
The innershoe was a bit uneven as it had a harmonica effect and they weren't totally waterproof.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

My 9 YO daughter who is a good little skier for her age has Roxa Chameleons which are the same thing really and never any problem with those (guess this will be their 3rd and last season but have survived a ton of fridge skiing abuse as well.). In fact looking at the Full Tilts it wouldn't surprise me if they came off the same production line so I would have no hesitation recommending those

Similarly my son has the Roces and likes them, just onto a larger pair now. Got 1.5 seasons out of first pair.
The bellows expanding section of the inner boot is noticeable; to minimise it I find its best to expand the boots to max, smooth it out, then gently shrink them down, pressing it to keep it flat. An additional thin insole also helps eliminate it.
Also so far very robust.
