Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Always good to see people getting success in the non-mainstream sports, unlike those "top top" footballers who never win anything

The first of this season's FIS Telemark World Cup Events has been held at Hintertux this weekend. In the Ladies Parallel Sprint race, Jasmin got her first (senior) WC podium position - 2nd! (She'd already gained a podium position in the 2012 FIS World Junior Championship and was 2013 French Cup Champion) wink

Jas knocked out Anna Morrissey our 2nd tele skier racing in the parallel sprints as the seeding had drawn them together. Anna has a blog here:

Anna trained with us over the Autumn to try and gain time in the skate sections of races.
Interesting to see how 'good' the prize money is for telemark (about 1/10 what you'd pick up for a xc WC)!
