Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Atomic Live Fit 100 vs Live Fit 130???

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
I am buying some new boots soon and really like some of the Atomic ranges. I have spent ages researching but cannot for the life of me work out the difference between the live fit 100 and live fit 130!

Can anyone help?

Thanks in advance

 Obviously A snowHead isn't a real person

Rule of thumb: Higher number is generally less squishy and more expensive.

Live Fit are very wide boots iirc, avoid if a narrow foot.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

sshainberg, you SHOULD NOT buy boots by reviews etc. You should buy what fits your feet & with a flex that suits your weight/height/ability. Go & see a good bootfitter & take their advice.

Blue/face, I just go with it now... eBay is probably the biggest ski boot retailer in the world...

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

If you're intent on buying the Atomics and you're not sure what the flex rating means then buy the 100. Unless you're advanced or very big/heavy the 130s will be too stiff. But best advice is to buy the ones the bootfitter recommends as best fitting your feet and your skiing.
