When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hey guys,

I'm off to Austria in January and this is my 2nd skiing trip could anyone
recommend a camcorder that doesn't cost a lot but also fits nicely on a helmet?

I use the Drift HD. It is excellent quality and doesn't stick up like the go pro. it is also a lot cheaper.

Kitenski, There is a clip located here. Filmed this year in Morzine. The cam is mounted on the top of my helmet. A piece of blue tack has stopped that rttling noise!

My veho muvi HD is pretty good and was under £100. It has a small LCD screen so can instantly playback and also remote control recording
