Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hi. I usually go skiing with all the kids at half term but last year we did new year in Arabba which was great. This year its Serre but I also fancy skiing the week before Christmas but don't want to spend a lot so its Europe and especially Italy. I like Italy and am off to sauze in Feb for a stag week so sella Ronda looks good. Has anyone skied the sella Ronda in mid December ? I know that snow one year doesn't guarantee this year but its a good guide. Thanks

ipken, a few years ago we did Kronplatz on the week overlapping from November to December and there was enough snow.

Thanks for that. I've taken the plunge and booked the sella Ronda. Its two weeks earlier than last year but there should be snow. They've also got snow making kit all over the place.
Should be a good year.
