Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Shuttle service from Kufstein to SkiWelt (north) resorts

Poster: A snowHead
I thought this might be of interest to snowHeads planning holidays in the SkiWelt area. From 1st December this year a shuttle service will be available from Kufstein station to the resorts on the north side of the SkiWelt area, Söll, Scheffau, Ellmau and Going, €14/adult. Details are available here (the web page also gives details of other transfer possibilities).

Though the offer might be useful if you're travelling all the way by train, I'm not sure it is so attractive for those flying to Munich. Taking the train from the airport to Kufstein would involve a change at München Ost plus the one at Kufstein; the train trip (currently) costs between €23,40 and €28,50 (adult single). On the other hand, a transfer in a shared bus with tirol-taxi/Four Seasons direct from Munich Airport to Scheffau costs €49,00 single (and only €82 return). Not that much more. That would be my preferred route.

Get a Bayern train ticket they are as cheap as 32 euros one way for 4 people from Munich Airport to Kufstein. I know as I did it in March when our flight was diverted from Innsbruck to Munich

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Good idea (for a group) that I hadn't thought of Smile Kufstein is looked on as being in the German rail network (as well as the Austrian, I presume).
