Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Familys needing acommodation before christmas??

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
We're a group of 5/6 family's with children ranging ages from 2.5 years to 18 (22-28 people in total ). We are looking to ski before christmas from approx 12-14th december until 19-21st of december. For the last 5 years we have been going to Fiss in Austria staying in a small family run hotel which included creshe for the younger children, half-board and ski passes which was very reasonable value and an excellent resort/hotel.
This year the more experienced skiers would like to explore a different ski area, but our problem is finding a similar type family hotel/chalet which will look after the younger children on and off the slopes and also include a similar package. We have been thinking of going to the dolomites, but we are open to suggestions of areas to visit and family friendly accomodation. Puzzled Puzzled

You could consider a chalet in the 3 vallees or Espace killy and then book a private nanny or two to look after the younger children. If you are used to Austrian prices on the mountain, you will find some of the French resorts expensive in comparison. Pack lots of snacks and eat in resorts rather than on mountain which is expensive.

omas brumm, I haven't used these sort of places personally - but in looking for accommodation in Austria have come across lots of "Family Hotels" at a range of resorts. Googling Family Hotel with the name of resort could be a good starting point - found this one in Saalbach in a few seconds http://www.ellmauhof.at/en-index.html
