Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

BASI L2 - where to do it? Courchevel or Chatel

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hi there

I've decided to go for my L2 in March this year and trying to decide between Chatel with BASS or Courchevel with NewGen. Having looked into it a little bit, it strikes me that the accommodation and lift pass will be quite a bit more expensive in Courchevel than PdS.

I've been to Morzine in the PdS, but not Chatel, neither have I been to the 3 Valleys or Courchevel, so I don't have anything to go on to assess the terrain etc.

What would you experienced & well travelled snowHead suggest?

Thanks

I doubt there will be much difference in terms of the terrain they use, both are large ski domains so the Trainer will be able to select whatever pistes are required for the L2. I'd go for whichever dates/prices work best for you.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

New Gen used to offer both Courch and Meribel in 3V, encouraging the younger crowd towards the former and those of a more mature outlook towards the latter. Given that the company you keep (and largely ski with) can make quite a difference to your experience, that was one of the deciders for me.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.
