Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Morzine: Need to find ski & board schools close to each other. Help?

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
In February I'm making good on a long held pledge to take my 12yr old daughter to learn to board. I'm and accomplished boarder.
I want to learn to ski (why???) for the 3 days that we're there and she wants to learn to board.
We're going to Morzine.
I need to find ski schools that are close to a board school so that when they finish for the day, I know that I'm close to her. I don't want a 12yr old waiting around for me somewhere without supervision.

Can anyone help?

Scoobysnax, welcome to snowheads. snowHead IME most schools do both disciplines and meeting areas are often in the same place. BASS Morzine is an excellent school and does both - you can't do any better, really, though they are more expensive than some of the opposition. If you are going at half term don't delay - they'll already be very booked up - phone them today! It's such a busy time, might not be easy to get both lots of lessons at the same time. You'll get other recommendations too, I'm sure.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

As pam says, all the schools do both apart from the one-man-bands and specialists such as Mint Snowboarding. That doesn't necessarily mean the relevant classes will start&finish at the same time&place! BASS is well worth calling, as is AASS in Avoriaz, they're the two main "english" schools so you will have no problem explaining your requirements, plus they have the manpower to run more classes concurrently so improving your chances of a match. Depending on which 3 days of the week you're here there may not be appropriate group lessons available anyway, in which case you'll have to go private so can dictate where you both finish, within reason. Good luck!
