Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Ski Olympic and Tignes

Poster: A snowHead
I was just having a quick browse on the Ski Olympic website and noticed that they're no longer marketing the chalets they used to have in Tignes. Anyone any idea why they've dropped them?

The village scuttle suggests a bit of a disagreement wit the owner of the 3 chalets in Tignes and one in La Ros which has also vanished. Total now running Le Rosset and Inghams the 2 in Lavachet.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

chocksaway, now that is good info. Might see how the December trip with Inghams goes before heading to one of those two smaller ones - great location for all levels of skiier.

Thanks, hadn't noticed the other in La Ros, that was another of their big ones, means they've lost a lot of beds this year.

It's a real shame Chalet Oliver in La Roz has gone - I had a great week there in 2012. Esprit have got it and looks like they are turning it into a chalet for the "lets dump the kids in with a nanny" brigade - though that might be a tad unfair.

not completely without founding, but certainly not true in all cases.

best we saw was a couple who rang back to the hotel and asked if they could take pictures of their childrens award ceremony as they were down the valley having drinks with some friends..

who were also the same people who dosed their kids up at breakfast so they were calm and quiet at handover time to the nursery team, who were obviously not happy 3 hours later when the calpol had worn off.

and no i am not kidding about either of those.

"we are here to ski after all"........
