Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Meribel 11-18 January 2014

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hi Everyone,

I'm looking to hook up with an individual or group planning to travel on the above date. Would prefer Meribel but will also consider Courcheval or VT. I'm a 38 male and this will be my 4th time skiing. I'm comfortable on blues and easy reds and will probably have a few lessons to get my confidence up. Am willing to pay a bit more for nicer accommodation and a single room if available. Also up for a few drinks at the end of the day but not into heavy apres-ski.

Look forward to hearing from you!

Cheers,

Camster Very Happy

Hi camster,

I've been pricing up a solo trip to that general area (I'd fly from Manchester - so to either Chambery / Grenoble airports) and potentially on that date. I'm 44 male, married, competant-ish boarder (blues and reds) Been boarding for the last few years in groups and on my own, and this year is currently looking like it's a solo year. I'm pretty laid back (like a drink) but like to try and keep the trip costs down (so I can justify going to the Mrs Happy). What kind of accommodation/budget were you thinking ?

Cheers
Phil

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

camster, psteer, I have that week or the week before penciled in for one of my trips with my buddy.
We are 65 & 66 y.o. male experienced skiers. We have a fun easy going attitude. When in the 3V we tend to do high mileage with a good lunch stop.
We don't mind paying for good quality accommodation, food & wine but like good value & are waiting for an attractive deal to come. Keep in touch.
