Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Lovely Southampton to Grenoble flights booked, was feeling smug, but not any more! Transfer quotes have come in horribly high, and I fear the queues for car hire at Grenoble on Saturday 21st December will be long and tedious. Any top tips? e.g. which is the car hire company with the shortest queues, will there be any problems getting chains, etc, or any good bus transfers? Thank you!

- bookings go live in mid sep.
Car Hire offices all in one place and equally busy/quiet depending on when you escape baggage reclaim.
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

With bensbus you can only get to Moutiers and then get the public bus up - always an option though.
A few companies might have shared transfers closer to time. You can leave a request for a shared/last minute transfer on
http://www.findtransfers.com/shared_transfers.asp
(it is free to use, we don't take commission, etc..) and see what happens.
Grenoble is a small airport and it can get proper busy, it depends how many flights arrive at the same time. Car hire is in a separate small building in the car park on your right after you come out of arrivals.

Shared transfers from Grenoble, we do not offer them even over Christmas as there just isn't the capacity generally. Happy to be proved wrong and offer one if people on here can fill a bus going to the same or similar locations or are prepared to accept going to Val d'Isere via Val Thorens.
As Dia says put them on find transfers' shared page and we will have a look.
