Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

BASS/New Gen Courchevel 1650

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hi

We are off to Courchevel 1650 4th - 11 jan 2014 and I am looking for group lessons for 2 children (11 and 12).

I have seen New Generation praised in a number of places but they cannot guarantee that there will be children´s group lessons that week. ( I have asked that their names are put on a waiting list in case there is more interest in children´s group lessons). However, I am looking at other options in case this doesn´t work out.

BASS have said that they will be running children´s group lessons that week and I wondered if anyone had experience of BASS in Courchevel 1650?

Would welcome any advice/suggestions.

thanks

zockel, Not in courchevel, but experience of BASS elsewhere - very good. We had lessons with New Gen in 1650 - many years ago - absolutely excellent. I don't think you'd go far wrong with either.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

pam w, flowa, thanks to both of you for your views.

Does anyone have any experience of New Gen putting on children´s classes out of holiday time? or does this never happen and it would be safer to just book the BASS classes (New Gen in Courchevel seem to be very highly recommended, but have not heard of BASS specifically in that resort)

thanks again

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

zockel, New Gen are great, I know an instructor with them there. Equally BASS are great too, you cant go wrong in that resort. Book whichever will run your kids group on your dates. Smile

New Gen is your best bet in 1650 as they have huge range of instructors and loads of kids classes on, BASS i think have one or two guys in 1650. another option would be Magic academy if NG is not running courses that week.
