Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hi all, its me back again and getting ready for 2014 skiing

Looking at going to Montgenevre and staying at a place called Chalet Chaberton, which is next to the Chalvet Pistes.

Anyone know of the Chalvet Piste and where it is or any reports on the above chalet

Thanks

Mr T Baggins

Timbobaggins, you would get more views putting this in the Resorts sub forum I think. I have been to Montgenevre but about 3 years ago and can't recall the Chalet you mention or even remember the piste sorry. You might try a PM to SHs volfy or snowymum, they know the resort well.

It's in the 'New village', so brand new. Self catering? Not much infrastructure in the Hameau de l'Obelisque, as the new village is called. You will be at the western end, so only a 5 minute walk into the traditional village. The apartment should be pretty much ski-in-ski-out. Who is offering it? or is it a private thing? http://www.chaletsdechaberton.com/

Timbobaggins, not stayed in the chalet, but as volfy says, it's part of the newer development at the Claviere end of town so will be pretty much brand new. It'll be close to (if not on) one of the south facing slopes and a 5 min walk from the centre of monty and to the lifts taking you to the north facing slopes.
