Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

"China has 200 ski areas in 19 provinces ... only 6 that are 'international' "

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
International interest in developing China's 'ski economy' is booming. A recent 'Alpine Investment and Development Summit' in Sydney, Australia, has looked at the potential.

It's estimated that 90 million Chinese people now have sufficient disposable income to go skiing. The availability of places to do it has grown from 6 to 8 'training bases' for ski athletes in 1994 to 200 recreational ski areas in 2005.

The decline of the Japanese ski market, estimated to have halved in size, has provided added interest in China. Various international ski resort development companies are now eyeing up the potential.

This report from SkiPressWorld.

Any comments on skiing in China welcome.

If you go skiing in China would you be able to see AND post on :SH: forum or would it be a breach of their interesting interweb restriction policy?

i just got back from china, but im afraid didnt test out snowheads.com from there. but anyway, basically theres very few sites actively blocked by the "great firewall of china". id say odds are that theres no problems at all. if there are however and you desperately need to post something non-political from china, get in touch and i'll teach you a few secrets...
