Great! I've never skiied Nendaz due in part to the antiquated lift links to Siviez. I'll give it a go this winter

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Excellent news Gary - no more rickety 2 man or thigh killing dog leg poma.

I always rather liked the poma, lovely views across to Mt Gan, but I do agree that if you had to use it every day it would be a bit tedious.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Good for the Nendaz crew who want to ski back but provided they're good enough. Plan de Fou not exactly motorway material. I'd rather there was a way to avoid the trudge over to Thyon and back.

Nickski I agree with you. An 8 man telecabine from the Nendaz side replacing the drag tow and the cable car would make more sense. The queue at the drag tow in the morning can be ridiculous and then you have the slowest 4 man on the planet back to Tracouet. They've replaced the similar old 2 man over at Les Masses also - I wonder if they have safety issues over them as this Siviez replacement wasn't in the forecast from what I've seen.

Fifespud, was in the forecast from my man in the know. I'd guess there must be a plan for something on the other side (I've not heard anything about) but otherwise why do it. Possibly an easier way down but that's just a guess.

Fifespud, Don't we all love the old 'leg whacker' 2 man chair with the dodgy moving carpet?

Swissie I've perfected it. You go on with one of your kids and make sure you stand about 20 cms in front of them. They take the full impact on the back of their legs making it nice and gentle for me to just hop on. Telling them to stop blubbing and 'man up' of course.
