Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

BASI telemark L1 - Hillend, Autumn 2013

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Managed to convince BASI to organise a L1 telemark course at Hillend Dry Slope (Edinburgh) this autumn.

Course will hopefully run over 2 weekends to minimise time off work.

Fri 27th Sept, Sat 28th Sept, Sun 29th Sept
plus...
Sat 5th, Sun 6th Oct

Should be ideal for anyone looking to improve their free heel turns or get a 2nd discipline signed off for ISIA level. Course fee listed on BASI web site includes uplift for the 5 days. I think they need 6 tele-whackers for the course to run. Many telemark courses seem to get canceled due to lack of interest so would be great if this one goes ahead. Could be ideal for any tele-skiers living in Scotland.

Anyone else... ? Very Happy

4 people currently signed up for L1 telemark @ hillend - probably need's 1 or 2 more to make it viable.
Would be good to make this course happen.
It is scheduled to run over 2 consecutive weekends (so only need 1 day off work).

Thumbs up to BASI for organising over 2 weekends.

It is currently the only scheduled L1 telemark course with sufficient numbers to run.
Great opportunity for anyone looking to improve their free heel turns or get a 2nd discipline signed off for L3.

^ was fun skiing with you.
Not sure what hurts more: thighs or my brain wink
All 7 candidates passed in the end.

IMHO it is great that BASI make an effort to run local courses on the UK dry slopes / snow domes / scottish resorts (etc).
