Has anyone stayed at Ingham's Chalet Hotel Pinzgauerhof, Hinterglemm?
Any recommendations / thoughts, good or bad?
Have just booked to take the kids there in the Xmas holidays.

Not a bad choice at all. Right next door to the Reiterkogel gondola lift and Snow & Fun rental shop/ski school office in the centre of the village. It's part of a large hotel complex that includes the Wolf Hotel and the stunning 5* Alpine Palace, so you may be able to use some of their facilities (at a price) such as the wellness spa and pool.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Avoid the very top floor, in the eaves. There roof slope intrudes into some of the rooms, and makes the room seem quiet small.
Otherwise - pretty good hotel, excellent location in the centre of Himterglemm with easy access to and from the lifts. I have actually managed to ski back to the Dorfschmieder one exceptional year, so you could just about do it to the Pinzgauerhoff if they don't clear the snow away.

of course it isn't! There are always some exceptionally moany and groany people who find fault with everything, or some plants who extol everything. But, as I said, the general vibe is positive and if the OP had been particularly concerned he or she would no doubt have asked for views before booking. Sounds like a good spot!
