gstann, I guess it would be the same as a turbo trainer or running machine. Good emulation of the physical action, easy on the joints, feed back on performance, measurable progression, maybe some sort of video.

Relocate it in the mountains where it snows a lot then perhaps construct some sort of aerial tramway around it. Then take away the treadmill.

team it up with the kinetik or similar so it'd reproduce what you do on the treadmill on the screen in a slalom game or something...
Something along the lines of those CityGolf places, or the game you get on rowing machines...
or maybe some kind of 'follow-the-leader skiing drills' thing?
Problems is no matter what you do, its still a fixed pitch, perfectly smooth, bullet hard piste simulator.

Of course complimentary hookers 'n blow might lessen the chore of using one a bit. Maybe strippers if you want to be PC.
