(btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Looks like they are planning to open a little bit at Artouste in the Vallee d Ossau using the little train
There is still alot of snow and they are having problems getting the col du Tourmelet open, in fact
we have had a little more snow yesterday and this morning.
When will it end. Im ready for some sun now!!

My Catalan friend facebooked me Monday to say that she seen on the news that a couple of Spanish Catalan resorts were planning to open this coming weekend.
She's not a skiier so didn't note which ones.

I just read that Verbier might open for skiing this weekend, they will decide in the morning. Same rumours abound about Tignes which has loads of fresh snow on the glacier and skiing possible back to Val Claret.
