Great news, June skiing! 20-40cm fresh across most of the Valais this morning down to 1400m. If this was America there would be a whole bunch of resorts opening just to get bragging rights and the free publicity that would go with it. Well done TeleVerbier for having a bit of imagination and commercial nous. Unfortunately the weather still looks a bit iffy this weekend...

Hmmm, forecast for Saturday looks mucky. There's a bit of a move afoot to get them to think about opening Sunday when the weather looks much better.

Televerbier are very hard nosed but presumably the world and his dog would do it for the joy of skiing in June. And then see about getting your skis serviced.
