Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Grenoble to l2a, 28th june?

 Poster: A snowHead

Hopefully heading out to l2a for a bit of skiing late june/early july(28th to the 8th) and the plan is edinburgh>lyon, then get a train from lyon to grenoble, but the one problem is getting from grenoble to l2a.

I don't speak french, except the odd phrase, which makes it difficult to read timetables etc, shuttlesdirect would be perfect, as it's not too expensive(£25 each way pp) but that seems to be airports only, and for some reason it needs a flight number and also won't tell me the time it's leaving(and I'm at the paying stage so it's definitely not any further).

So I was hoping someone knowledgeable on here would be able to point me in the right direction, the nearer to grenoble station the better.

Thanks

Bus timetable (3030) is here http://www.transisere.fr/ftp/FR_Lignes/3020%20%C3%A0%20partir%20du%201er%20sept.pdf Bus station is right next to the train station. Only concern I'd have is that it might change (it's from 1st Sept but their site brings it up as the current one). You also need to look at which ones run on which days.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

We've done the 3030 bus before, but in the winter, quite a nice journey as buses go!! Makes 3 or 4 stops throughout the resort so don't be fooled into thinking you need to get off at the first stop. When we caught it, we were staying at the Place de Venosc end of town, it dropped us off at the VFD office close by, that was the final stop in resort.
