Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Really impressed with the product and service from http://www.limboproducts.co.uk/

They are really good quality waterproof covers for casts or dressings which make it really easy to have a bath or shower without faffing about with bin bags and tape Laughing

Ordered online one day and it came in the post the next day. Highly recommended Smile

sarah, thanks, happy to say I can take my brace off for a shower as long as I'm sitting down. The austrian cliniic provided a medical waste disposal sack and surgical tape Laughing

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

sarah,

I always recommend cling film to over surgical wounds when showering.

holidayloverxx, Glad to hear no expense spared in the Austrian hospital Laughing my husband can have his brace off but still has sutures, dressing and bandage to keep dry for a while longer yet.

Jonathan Bell, Good idea with the cling film, this cover is totally watertight though even submerged in the bath.

Just thought it might be a useful tip for someone Smile

Jonathan Bell is right about the cling film. Mum came up to visit while her elbow that had been pinned back together was still recovering, and all dressed up. Wanted a shower so I rummaged in the kitchen, came up trumps with a catering-sized box of cling film, royally wrapped it up and job's a good'un. She was fine. Bit of a faff though. The waterproof covers sound well worth it if in pot/dressing etc for a while.
