I'll remind you of that in 3 weeks time. When you're miserable...and I'm not. However I'm pretty miserable now as in Geneva Airport. Which sucks.
Keeping slightly on track; still snow on the ground in Geneva and still cold. Tomorrow will be very pleasant for anyone lucky enough to be skiing.

Tuesday 29th 6pm, in the resort now and it's snowing again.
As of 5pm this afternoon nearly all of the easily accessible stuff is tracked out. Most of the damage was done yesterday when the resort was as busy as I have ever seen it (been coming for the last 7 years). But buy the number of cars i saw arriving on Monday morning, I guess a lot were from other resorts coming to pinch the foot of fresh that fell during the night. Much much quieter today, felt more like the usual "slopes to yourself" feeing I'm used to.
Slopes are in A1 condition and if you don't mind a bit of effort there is still powder to be found. Hopefully it will carry on snowing all night and make Wednesday another day to remember.

There's been a lot of precipitation througout yesterday and overnight. Much of it has fallen as rain at resort level, but as far as I can tell, snow/rain limit has mostly been around 1600-1700m (i.e. just above the resort) so there should be plenty of fresh snow on the hill - ski patrol reporting 35cm at 2000m.
It is still snowing in resort now and looks set to continue for a while, with the freezing level forecast to drop all the way to the valley floor and below. Should be sick when the sun comes out!

Awesome on the hill today. Good powder all the way to the resort. The base is rain-affected up to about 1800m or so, but no big deal as there's plenty of fresh on top.
Only regret is deciding the Aiguille wasn't going to open, so dropped down Les Foyeres, then found out it opened later...

Hi Andrew, not planning an airport run for that day. Best option is www.bensbus.co.uk . Leaves from le Monal in Sainte Foy town, costs about £40 for a single.
Should add - mild temps and sunny weather at the moment, so Spring conditions on the mountain for the most part. Great pistes, hard in the morning, then softening nicely in the sun. Off-piste pretty knackered, although probably some nice corn to be found in the right places. Looks like we may get more snow later in the week, forecast a bit uncertain.

It's off the blue (formerly green) running through the trees back to the resort.
I wouldn't get too excited though.

Snow update - fresh snow coming little and often last week. By Thursday, there was around 20cm of light, fresh snow off-piste, although on a hard, re-frozen base after the mild weather.
I rode Fogliettaz on Friday (first group off the cornice right from the summit!) and it was epic, one of the best runs I've had (being first helps!). Not touching the base at all until we got down to the exit couloirs.
Been busy over the weekend, so haven't been up. Saturday was cold and clear, today it is snowing quite hard, with a lot more forecast overnight. Should be very good indeed for the next few days.
Slightly grainy iPhone pic from the top of the Foliettaz:

hi there, been to Tignes several times and to 3Vallees as well and heard about the St Foy which sounds very intereting. Could anyone recomend ski-in/out appartment or challet for a family of 4? Starting to look for where to go next year and all the advice is much appreciated
