Just back from Tremblant. Unfortunately we couldn't get internet in our chalet otherwise I would have read your last post JB007, and popped in to say hello and quite possibly hired a headcam for a day.
I absolutely loved the variety at Tremblant. Although it was getting a little polished in places the conditions were still good and I enjoyed trying out the glade runs through trees. The runs were also longer than I imagined. As mentioned in an earlier post I had been to Tremblant 8 years ago when I couldn't really ski but loved it then and loved it more being able to do the blacks and ski the whole mountain. I usually go to a large area like the 3 valleys or Espace Killey so did wonder how I'd find it - would I go back - definitely. I'd prefer to get more Canadian Dollars for my pound though. It was 2.2 for years and had slumped to 1.6. You also have to look out for early bird deals on the lift passes. To buy on the day it is expensive at 80 CAD per day, 62 CAD half day. I felt food in resort and on the mountain was reasonably priced compared to Europe. I also got the impression the resort may be feeling the effects of the recession as pistes were quite empty which was brilliant for us but long term could well put more pressure on Intrawest.
Back to the unpacking ....
