Helen Beaumont, It has definatly snowed down to at least 1800m. The webcams at Montgenevre confirm that. Doesn't look like much at that altitude, perhaps 10cm.
It is looking lovely and white up top especially in Monetier!

You can just see the snowline at the top of the picture. Looks like about 200m up. Thus making the snowline at about 1700m.
More snow predicted aswell.

the snow line was more like 1900m
sorry to disapoint you. i was up the le lauzet today and it was a good 150m to the snow.
still it is quite cold and it did definately snow more up top today, not sure how much but we'll see

Christopher, it's very early yet for the snow to fall and actually stay. We could do with a good cold spell with some sharp frosts to chill the ground, and for them to get the snowmakers going.

Helen Beaumont, there is snow due to 1800m today but the temps are due to go up to a max of 16. its cold in the mornings but today i was walking the dog in just a hoodie, as i was last night come to think about it but i was a bit cold then!

i've just had the girls round for lunch and there was much talk of whta the locals are saying...... i dont like to be a doom monger.... but the locals are concerned it has come too early!

snow to about 1700m
i thought it might have been lower as it is pretty much over half way down the luc, but on walking the dog this morning the top of the orientation table is not white so its definately over 1600m
very wet down here in the valley and very cold.
due to snow to 1100m tomorrow, typically the day i have to go to grenoble with the boy, but if it is very snowy here tomorrow morning i'm going to cancell as i'll be dammed if i'm going to get stuck on the wrong side of the coll

drove over the coll today as no snow falling.
snow from the le lauzet to la Grave. But not that much at road level, however everything looks lovely and white and the kite surfers were out this afternoon. was soooo jealous i must learn to do that!
The boy took a photo' on my phone will take a look at it and post it if its worth it.

snowed this morning, not a lot but still fluffy white flakes falling from the sky! everything was white for all of about 2 mins!
few changes to tickets this year.
no more 6 days in chantemerle villeneuve
no more 3 hours in c/v it is now replaced by an whole area 3hr pass.
we have a new snowpark made from wood wall ride and various other things, i've got some photo's that the boy took on sunday
more snow due this week bring it on i am ready

i think the most amount of snow made last night in serre che was in chantemerle for the ice carting rink 
they've had them blowers on but they didn't do that much, still its a start and bang on normal timing for the snow blowers to start.

They forecast looks good for the weekend/later in the week with dropping temps.

its called le melezone and its all natural rails, all made of meleze!
there are going to be lots of new changes to the pistes this year. lots more snowmaking on the luc alphond and various other things. But i have to admit that the meeting this evening went on so long i nearly fell asleep.
our new jackets are black and orange! nice!
