I said "should" find out tomorrow after the press conference, I don't expect the lifts to suddenly open! All depends on the local figures and unfortunately most French ski resorts are in the East, ie high figures........
Plus I would expect them to propose a future date for the opening, subject to the inevitable fallout from the Xmas and New Years holidays.....
Maybe if they hadn't de-restricted the travel lockdown the figures would be looking somewhat nicer!

British media now reporting France has said ski resorts won't open before mid-February at the earliest. Can anyone on the ground confirm that (attributed to Castex).
Not that it matters if UK residents are blocked from entry for the forseeable future.
