Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

@T Bar, I can multi-task usually but granted it can be difficult to ski, drink alcohol and read the FT. That is why I suggested going for a coffee early in the morning.

None of which compares with Skiworld calling Zug==Lech. They really are totally different villages. Been bugging me for years that they do so

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

@harvsurrey, agreed. Plus La Daille has all the old parts of the village as opposed to the ugly new area up the valley.

Am going with Ski World to "Lech" in a couple of weeks time. Well aware it is in Zug, probably would never have found the holiday if it had been advertised as Zug. Probably happier to be in Zug. As ever, caveat emptor.

@Sfellows, Ski World's chalets in Zug are in pretty decent location. Especially the Alpenland. Easy 75 metre walk/ski to the Zugerbergbahn, and if you return from Zurs via Madloch same back to the chalet. The Blue busses are in and out of Lech/Zug every 15/20 mins and free. Don't expect an easy ski back to Zug from the Lech side, there's going to be a modicum of poling. Having said that, there's a quite café/bar by the main road, a lovely restaurant run by the same people above and behind, well worth a look at for the staff night out.

So, Zug is definitely not Lech, but has much quieter and easier access to the skiing in Lech. Great ski-base.
