fatbob, I was told only boring people get bored?
Mike Pow, the rental boots at SZ aren't the greatest but they're OK, and as you can probably guess we can't really put Dynafit boots in alpine bindings. We'd love to get you on some skis though, what size are you we might have some better boots in store we could lend to you?

Why's that Pedantica, are the snow conditions there that good?
Surely it's worth it to get tomorrow's "Proper snowHead" badgealthough for the sake of due dilligence I should probably declare at this point that the Proper snowHead badge is an imaginary one ?

Nice to see the numbers turning so quickly into firm bookings today
Such commitment pays dividends...
It's now 'strongly rumoured' that Reps from Nordica, Rossignol and Blizzard will be coming along with their test kit too.

I see kids mentioned... I presume we are talking older ones not like mine, aged 6 & 8?
Also could I go halves with the missus and do a couple of hours each. So the other can look after the kids?

Absolutely not Layne: that would be very naughty.
(If she happened to accidentally put your jacket on with your pass attached to it though, well... we all make mistakes )
Kids aren't a problem in my view.

I do sometimes wear my hair down
Kids are experienced skiers, just wondering if there will be shorter ski's available for them to try? If not I guess they can just ping about on the house ski's?

Somehow skiing at CFe on the Saturday and losing half the slope to the racers (when I was looking forward to an early start and first up the slope on the freshly groomed surface) hardly seems adequate compensation for missing this shindig, but nothing I can do about it

After a little gentle persuasion, I've managed to get us a further reduction for kids.
Under 16's, ie 15 or less will be a fiver cheaper.
If anyone has signed their kids up already at the adult price, PM Admin their usernames and I'll cancel the entries so you can re-book them at the lower price.

Excellent. How long from top to bottom on a gentle slalom at this venue? I could not work out from the website.

Mike Pow, and others, we're hoping to get a few sample boots down there for people to try, size range might be a bit limited but probably 24.5 to 27.5 across a few styles.
We're working on a list of skis that will be present, hopefully get that out later today or tomorrow.
