@pred02, contact Jennewein and Alber. They apparently do have some lockers for rent at the Galzigbahn end of town, but not sure about Nasserein. The stores there are considerably smaller than the main stores.
I have just found out that a whole bunch of holidays coincide this year, starting this weekend, including a long weekend. The latter finishes on Tuesday. Hoping for merely busy on Wednesday versus insanely busy like this morning.

We hired lockers from Jennewein at the Nasserein lift last week. (But also had hire gear from there, I'm not certain they offer *just* the lockers.)

Arriving in St Anton in two weeks time, for 6 days skiing. First time for all of the group in the Arlberg.
First day is a Saturday and we’re staying 10 mins walk from the Galzigbahn. Is it worth heading to Rendl first thing to avoid crowds or is it likely to be much the same at the rest of the resort?

@Shakira, we use the ski and boot storage downstairs at Jennewein, great service and good pricing, totally secure. Never seen the need for a locker personally.
@fox15, Usually quieter up Rendl early.

Saturdays usually quiet on slopes, changeover day. Rendl good choice, red R1 to base Rendlbahn good piste to get ski legs going, nothing on it to shock/horror.
Alber ski depot close by to Rendlbahn and Galzigbahn for ski lockers.
Apres ski- live bands at Sennhutte and Heustadl on blue 50 home run, accessed from both Galzig and Gampen. Further down on blue 50 the infamous/famous Mooserwirt for Europop, shoulder to shoulder and numbers deep.

Significantly warm for this week untill Thursday ..
Next week (From the weekend) the Temperature will drop hopefully some fresh snow ...
We still have approx 3.5 Metres base on Galzig. This was from the Late November/December massive Dump...
Probably the best Snow Conditions in the European Alps
If we had not had the early dump we would be sliding on grass as its to warm for the artificial snow cannons..
Another 10 weeks left of the 2023/24 season

Looks more like winter this morning. -6C on the Galzig. A decent dusting on the deck - more than yesterday. Sunshine forecast, but currently the peaks are shrouded in cloud. Snow-making running on Kandahar and likely elsewhere.
Yesterday was a fabulous day. Variable weather in the morning, giving way to afternoon sunshine. The new snow really freshened up the pistes up high. Pick of the day: first tracks in Mattun were divine. Plenty of people pushing their luck on the Death Wall, despite the number of big avalanches that have come down, and many glide cracks.
The local view is that crowds will decrease from insane to just extremely busy after tonight. Yesterday, around 1pm, lunch in Gampen Kinderwelt had just finished - there must have been 200 kids at the back door. Hats off to their instructors - that would be my definition of the inner circle of hell. The queue on Z’bahn in the morning was a huge mushroom, well out the rope races. It died off in the afternoon; probably fewer people want seconds on Kandahar at that time of day. Osthang looked similar, but did not go there yesterday. Surprisingly, the queues on Gampenbahn and Galzigbahn became quite manageable after the morning rush.

@ulmerhutte, That is a surprise given the amount of debris about, I assume the snow pack has now stabilised enough for the commission to be confident there will be no more cracks. I looked at Mattun and decided to give it a miss given the amount of avalanche debris in the area but assume it is not as bad as it looks.

@blkball, If you stand on the left hand side of the Kandahar black run, look over towards the Mattun bowl above the currently closed Steissbachtal blue run, you will see a line of small cliffs below the upper part of the Kapall chair, the area is currently covered in avalanche debris. This is known as the death wall, for fairly obvious reasons. There is a ski route, 41 Kapall, that picks its way through though the cliffs which mainly extend to the north of the official route. The ski route is currently closed and I would assume will remain so even if the blue piste is reopened.

@munich_irish, Yup,a few years back a snowboarder was killed on there and it was in media, was creepy to sit on the chair lift and see the clear tracks going to the top of the cliffs and nothing coming out below.....gives me the shivers when I see folks making their way across to it, looks pretty tame from the lift but not when looking back from under it for sure.

@blkball, not sure, but possibly it was both. You could clearly see the tracks ending where the slope cracked and slid. That I can remember very well. What I cannot remember is whether there was a rock band in that line. Either way, it did not change the bottom line.
Today was one of our two best days of the season. Kaiserwetter and powder. Spent the day lapping Schafgliger, Schindlerkar, and Bachseite. Fabulous snow and no crowds with which to contend - they were all on piste.

I’m hoping this is the right place, I’ve trawled the site but can’t spot anything that leaps out to help me.
I’m heading out to stay in St Christoph in a couple of weeks with a group of weak to strong intermediate level skiers and seem to have found myself appointed as piste director, responsible for daily route planning. I was in St Anton for a few days last year so have some faint recollections of skiing centred around Galzig and Gampen but didn’t know if staying in St Christoph presents problems or opportunities.
Can we ski to Lech or is the bus a better option? I wasn’t sure if I can get to the #100 piste into Stuben from Galzig or whether I have to get up to Valluga and connect from there. Is #100 a good way of getting started with going over to Lech?
As always, thanks in advance.

@Blanch1962, I know the names not the numbers so might have wrong end of the stick!
From St Christoph there is only one lift which goes up to Galzig. Galzig can often be murky with low cloud when other areas like Rendl & Zürs are fairly clear. If you want to head towards St Anton / Kapall check that the Steissbachtal blue run is open (it has been closed due to avalanche issues but has reopened not sure for how long) if it is then head towards that and either down to St Anton where you can go over to Rendl or take the short chair up to Gampen for some blues & reds on Kapall. If it closes again, less confident skiers are probably better off getting the bus down to St Anton, the only skiing option then is the Kandahar black run which usually has decent snow but also usually has some big moguls which some find rather difficult (see image above for the chaos that has ensued with too many trying to get down it!)
To get over towards Zürs & Lech two options either using the Flexenbahn or the bus. The long piste Valfagehr is best skied first thing as it tends to turn into an endless mogul field later in the day which might not appeal. I would say take the Schindler gondola to the top and go the whole way down (the signs for "expert" & "family" are rather misleading, the "expert" option stops at the highest point and whilst there is most definitely some expert level terrain accessible the only piste is a short if somewhat steep red which then joins the piste from the top / family stop for a long run all the way down to Alpe Rauz for the Flexenbahn). The other option is to head for the Arlenmähderbahn which misses out the upper (best) part of the run.
There are buses (not free) which go to Zürs & Lech. I would suggest, especially on a sunny morning, to get ahead of the crowds jump on a bus just before 09:00 and get off at Zürs and ski the runs from the Zürserseebahn and the Seekopfbahn. They usually have really good snow first thing and catch the morning sun. Dont miss out on the Täli / Muggengrat red run, it is really good. Your weaker skiers might find the first short pitch a little steep (right hand side is easiest) but the snow is pretty much always good and the rest of the run is a joy for all with great scenery, need to build up speed at the end for the section along the road back to the lift.
To get to Lech from Zürs you either take the Madloch ski route or the bus. Madloch should be within the compass of most reasonable skiers, though can get moguled later on. It is pretty much pisted but it is fairly long so might be tiring for some. The most awkward sections are the short path at the beginning (more because of crowds) after that you need to build up speed to avoid having to pole / skate up a short incline. Towards the end there are a couple of steeper pitches which get icy & moguled but there are (signposted) easier path options

@jonm, I dont think there is an underground car park (or at least not a public one) but no snow forecast for Saturday so no issue. If you are coming from the West / Switzerland best option is to park at Stuben or Zürs. I believe both are free (the St Anton ones are not) the Zürs one is nearer to the lift but a slightly longer drive over the Flexenpass. Lots of folk will be getting changed, putting on boots etc. Easy enough to get to wherever you are staying later in the day. If you do end up driving to St Anton best option is to park at Nasserein but it does get full especially at weekends so plan on being there by 09:00.

@jonm, Suggest parking at Zurs (large free carpark (next to the lift as you enter Zurs) and have a day skiing Zurs/ Lech? Head round to Anton later on, Rauz will be busy by the time you arrive if much after 9am, less so at Zurs.

Another option depending on which hotel you are staying in they might let you park in their car park before you check-in, or check-in but collect your room keys later in the day. That's what we usually do. It does depend on how much spare parking space they have and how convenient your hotel is for the lifts though.
